A Sunset At Omaha In Maine

Omaha is not one of the most visited areas in Maine because the road in is horrible. It does have camping available and they tend to fill them spots.

The area has a total of two beaches and around 5 different places that you can camp. You can choose between the beach or next to the fast-moving river that leads into the lake.

In general, the beaches are empty and it’s a very quiet place. We were all alone on the beach during this sunset about a year ago.

The beach is around 25 miles outside of Millinocket and camping cost about 4 bucks a person on the honor system.

The lake is of moderate size and a great place to put a canoe in.
