Maine has many simple built bridges and they are slowly breaking throughout the state. The rough conditions and the winter damage the bridges.
They are pretty funny to see, but a lot of these bridges also are dangerous and stop you from going to your destination.
Unfortunately, they are not the “Main” bridges and we don’t have the funding for them to be repaired.
A lot of the roads are also washed out especially during the spring. The water gets high from all the melting snow and ice and floods out the bridges.
