Clear Water

I’ve seen bottled water that looks less clear than this stream. I’m about to show you a picture of an absolutely brilliant small waterfall located at Abol Pond in Baxter State Park.

Maine has an insurmountable array of rivers and streams sprinkled through-out the state. All of them seem too have unique features that separate them.

Of course, they are ideal spots for fly fishing and other types of fishing, the sport is engaged in by a lot of Mainers.

The regulations can be strict and you need a fishing license, to fish with the right tackle, and to know the dates that are available to participate in the activity.

As there is a season for Ice Fishing and regular fishing. I don’t know all the details, but that gives you an idea of the obstacles you might have to overcome, if you plan to fish while you’re visiting Maine.
