Mount Katahdin is the highest mountain in all of Maine.
The stunning looking mountain can be seen from thousands of different angles through-out northern Maine.
The closer that you get to the mountain, which is most frequently visited through baxter-state-park, the more you will realize what a gigantic mountain it is.
We have been fortunate enough to have the experience to climb the mountain on many occasions. Though the experience can be completely exhausting and its a day-adventure, its well worth it.
