I’m not a professional photographer, nor is anyone who takes pictures for this website, but you don’t need to know the obscure intricacies of photography to recognize a simply beautiful sunset.

In Maine, especially in Northern Maine, we take for granted all the remarkable scenery we witness everyday.

As we drive pass the quiet mountain ranges in our vehicles, hurry for a quick walk to get our miles in, even cursing the snow as it falls without conscience on our driveways and through-out our streets.

The same can be said for almost any location you’re at (besides if you live in a gigantic metropolis). I’m kidding, we should all appreciate the art of architecture.

Taking things for granted is natural, its human instinct, because we are always seeking betterment.

When violence, economic disasters and pure evil are so present in the world. Our perception, the way we visualize everything is cheapened by the negativity. Its hard to look for beauty in today when tomorrow could always be brighter. Of course, that theory in itself is a gamble, and I don’t know if I want to play slots with the casino of life.
